Well, Christmas has come and gone and now I'm trying to find room for the haul Izzy made out with. We spent Christmas in St.George and spent our time 4-wheeling, shooting guns (I even shot a clay pigeon!), and hanging out with the fam. It was really nice to spend 6 days with Izzy as I miss out being with her 10 hours a day during a normal week. Sunday we had Christmas all over again with Brad's parents. Izzy is enjoying presents galore, and even had a blast playing in the boxes and wrapping paper on Christmas day.

Mya Claire Tyson
We have a new niece! This makes 6 little grand-girls in the Noss family. We are so excited that she is finally here and that everything went well for mom and baby. She is absolutely adorable! Izzy is going to have so much fun with her cousins when she's a little bit older.

Demolition Man
UPDATE: More demolition. Maybe by the New Year since Brad is now done with finals.
The remodeling is now underway with Brad aka "Demolitian Man" destroying everything in his path...well at least his path in the bathroom. I had NO IDEA to what degree he would be stripping the bathroom. The only thing that remains is my bathtub...which is full of part of the ceiling right now. I have wanted a new bathroom since we moved in. It was just...very bad. So, for our birthday and Christmas we are getting a new bathroom. Well, I'm getting the new bathroom and Brad got a new saw that apparently he "had" to have to remodel the bathroom (I've heard that before). These pics were taken BEFORE Brad tore through the wall and ceiling trying to find out why the ceiling was bulging, and before he ripped off the gross tile in the shower. He's also getting ready to start on the basement, yay!
I have to hand it to him...working on the basement and bathroom while going to school and working full time hasn't been easy.

Halloween!
Well, Halloween came and went and I'm barely getting around to posting some pics. These are some pics of Izzy with her cousin Noah. Noah is fascinated with Izzy in general (frequently pulling at her hair and poking at her eyes :-), but who could resist pulling on those fuzzy lamb ears? I'll add pics from Grandma & Grandpa Noss' house a little later. There, Izzy had fun with her other cousins who were all dressed so cute for Halloween.

The Helmet
Well, Izzy is now sporting her plagiocephaly cranial remolding helmet. She doesn't seem to mind it at all and has actually slept really well in it. She is her usual happy self. I think its more uncomfortable for Brad and I to see her in it all day, than it is for her to be in it. It was a plain white medical looking helmet when we first received it...so we jazzed it up a bit. I think she's feeling pretty cool in it now. Brad wanted to paint it orange with a big 20 on it (for you non-nascar people, that's Tony Stewart's number). He of course, lost. Here are the before and after pics of her helmet.

Update!
Ok, so I'm getting harrassed that I haven't updated in a while. The summer went by way too fast. The highlight of the summer was probably the Noss annual campout, which was a lot of fun, and Izzy had a good time as well...or so it seemed. Other than that, Brad and I really didn't have time for too much fun or vacations, because we were both fairly new to our jobs. I'm loving my new firm and am so glad that I decided to look when I did. Brad is also enjoying the hours that he works at Lowes as opposed to the slave hours he was working at the old job. We recently went to St. George to visit my family, which was fun...but not long enough. Izzy went swimming for the first time and really enjoyed it. In other news, Brad is back in school and keeping busy. He also thinks that it's possible to remodel our upstairs bathroom while working full-time, and going to school full time...only time will tell :-). Izzy is growing so big (and round - love it!) and has recently started rolling over. She has plagiocephaly (basically part of her skull is flat), and she'll be getting a cranial remolding helmet here in the next few days. Other than that...life is good!

Daddy's Girl
We went to Sugarhouse park the other day and just hung out and snapped some pictures. I was able to get a few of Brad playing with Izzy when he wasn't aware of it. She is fascinated with Brad...or maybe it's just the gray whiskers :-), but anyhow, she just loves looking at him (and so does her mama!). She already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger.

New Job!!!
I have a new job! I've been wanting one for a while now, but finally decided to start looking a few weeks ago. I start work at Stoel Rives, L.L.P on Monday in the Labor/Employment Litigation practice group. I'm more than ready to be back in corporate law and I'm also excited to be once again, working downtown (that means meeting up for lunches girls...you know who you are). The sad part, however, is not being with Izzy during the day, but it's very comforting knowing that she has such awesome aunts and a grandma who love her and who I completely trust to take care of her. Thanks so much Candice, Lauri, Jenny and Carolee for helping Brad and I out. We love you!

9 Weeks Old!
Well, Izzy is now 9 weeks old. The pics above were taken when she was about 6 weeks old. Our little chub-a-lub is now 13 pounds 14 oz and growing so fast! The time has flown by since she was born, and tomorrow I go back to work. I can take Izzy with me, but we'll see how that goes. She is a really good baby and pretty much only cries when she wants her bottle, but I worry about being too busy at work to pay enough attention to her. She has been sleeping through the night since she was 5 weeks old, and lately has been sleeping on average from 10:30 at night to 7:30 in the morning. She has so much personality and expressions that she makes us laugh all the time. I think she is definitely going to be a daddy's girl for sure :-)

5 Weeks Old
Isabel is now 5 weeks old. It seems like she was born just 2 weeks ago. The time has flown by so fast. I'll be sad when it's time to go back to work, but at least I can take her with me. She keeps me so busy at home that it will be interesting to see how it goes when I go back to work. She has the cutest personality and smiles a lot...but she has also been known to give a few scowls as well, as illustrated in the picture below where I took her picture while giving her a bath. She got her first cold, which has not been fun. Luckily it's not too bad. Not much else has been going on... Just trying to get my new life organized and balance being a new mom :-)

Cousin Noah came over the other day and we thought it would be cute to get some pictures of the two together.

The New Arrivial of Our Sweet Baby Girl!!
Isabel Noss was finally born April 25th at 8:42 p.m. She weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and is 19 inches long. She is very sweet and very alert for being so little, and already full of smiles. In fact, we went to our first pediatrician appointment today and he said that she's as alert as a one-month-old baby! Here are some pictures:

The Tulip Festival
Brad and I met up with Candice and the girls, Lauri, Tyler & Emma at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I have to admit it was somewhat disappointing. Only 20% of the tulips at the festival had opened. It was fun to hang out with everyone though, and all the girls looked adorable as usual. Brad and I were there for about 3 hours, and boy can I feel it now! Note to self...take it easy on the walking when you're 9 months pregnant...Ouch!
