Noah Kile Bigelow!

We have a new nephew!! Noah Kile Bigelow was born on March 15th, weighing 8 pounds 11 ounces. He's 21 inches long and has a head full of hair. Just a few more weeks until his cousin arrives! The nursery is really coming along. Brad has been working so hard on it, and his dad, Tyler, Cory and Clay have all helped out to make our nursery spectacular! I'll get some pics up soon. In the meantime, here's some pics of Noah!

Month 7

Baby Girl is definitely running out of room in my belly. I swear there is nowhere else that girl can go, and I don't see how my belly can get any bigger. I'm amazed that it's been able to stretch this much already. The picture above is of my sister Jenny and myself. My sister is due in 3 weeks with her baby boy, whereas, I still have 8 weeks to go. There is still so much to do before she arrives, including taking my Math final, cleaning and organizing my house, and finishing the nursery. Brad started the nursery a couple of weeks ago, but it's been a slow work-in-progress. He's been working insane hours at work and I've been busy with school and work as well. I'll hopefully get some before and after pics of the nursery to post soon. Other than that, I've been feeling pretty good...tired, but good :-)

BABY GIRL!

We're having a baby! We realize it's crazy soon, but we feel very blessed and excited. We found out on Monday that we'll be having a little girl. If Brad had his way, he would love to decorate the nursery in Jeeps and Monster trucks (whether boy or girl), however, I'm slowly getting him used to the idea that it will probably be pink :-). We have a lot to do before our girl comes. Brad is going to start ripping up the carpet in the house in order to make way for NEW carpet!!! After the carpet is installed and finals are over, I think we might finally be able to start concentrating on painting and decorating a nursery. Until then, we're slowly making way for the holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

The Monsters...

Daisy and Cutter are the two rambunctious children in our lives...ok, dogs. As I've mentioned in our profile, they sometimes act like little monsters- and I admit they can be quite a handful. However, despite being naughty and mischievous at times, they really do brighten my day whenever I see their happy little faces. They get so excited by the simplest things! I wish I could be satisfied by something as simple as someone throwing a dirty tennis ball for me to fetch, or giving me a plastic water bottle to chew on (their favorite). Brad adopted Cutter when he was 1-year-old (he's now 5), and we got our little Daisy from the shelter while Brad and I were engaged so that Cutter wouldn't be so lonely. Well, Daisy definitely keeps Cutter company and they play constantly. Cutter was a bit chubby before we got Daisy, but our little guy is all muscle now. Daisy just runs him around in circles and their favorite game is tug-of-war.

The Wedding!

Brad and I were married on June 9th and I've never been happier. He is truly my best friend. The wedding was wonderful because we were surrounded by so many family and friends. We had our reception at the Taylorsville Historic Assembly Hall which was great, and we had a nice turnout. It was really fun to meet all of Brad's friends and people he grew up with. We honeymooned in Moab, Utah, which was perfect because I love to hike and Brad is a big Jeeping fan. We also had a lot of fun hiking in Arches National Park (pics coming soon). Tackling the Delicate Arch hike was the best feeling...and so worth it! The day we got back however, I slipped at the bottom of our stairs and broke my foot. So, as it slowly heals and Brad calls me names like "gimpy" and "clod-hopper," I find myself getting restless to take this boot off my foot and do something active. We're going to be heading up to Ashley National Forrest in about 2 weeks for the Noss annual campout. There's a fabulous hike there that we went on last year, but I guess I'll just have to wait and tackle it again next year. I think it will be a really fun trip though, just so long as I don't see any bears! Brad's mom and dad are talking about getting a loud air-horn for me to sound in case I see any bears. It's supposed to make me feel more safe up there, ha-ha (love it!). I really enjoy camping... but I do have a fear of bears, yikes!
